If there is any outstanding sponsor money from before the summer holiday, please send it in to school as soon as possible and we will let you know how much we raised for National Children’s Homes and school.
School travel surveys
We have been asked by Education Leeds to survey parents, pupils and staff about the way in which they travel to school. With this letter you will get a survey form asking for your travel details. I would be grateful if you could complete and return the survey as soon as possible. Thanks for your help with this.
Harvest
As in previous years, as part of our harvest celebrations we will be making a collection of tins and packets of food. We will be sending these donations of food to St George’s Crypt who look after homeless people in Leeds. You always make a fantastic effort with this – thank you. Please start sending tins and packets as soon as possible.
Parents will be invited to the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Harvest celebration. The date set is Thursday 2nd October. I will send out a reminder nearer the time.
Wake up and shake up
This year we are hoping to have a session of the wake up and shake up activity on four days each week (weather permitting).
Photographs
School photographs will be taking place next Friday 19th September. We will be sending reminders and details at the beginning of next week.
School Savings Bank
The bank will be open as before, on Friday mornings from 8.50 – 9.10 in the Out of School room. Please use the Out of School room door (to the right of the main office, round towards the hall). Existing savers and anyone interested in opening an account are welcome each week.
