Notice Board

Some time ago, a number of parents commented that a notice board would be a useful addition to pass information on to parents. We now have a notice board situated outside Reception classroom, hopefully easy for parents to see as they pass through the yard. I am sure this will prove to be very useful.

New fence

I hope that the new fence alongside the path into school will be a help. It was clear that the bushes and thorns were making the path very narrow and were something of a hazard when overhanging the path.

Lunches

We try to be as flexible as possible when parents inform us that they would like their children to change from packed lunches to school dinners or vice-versa. We would ask that parents give us as much notice as possible so that arrangements can be made. Thank you for your help.

Parents’ Consultation Evenings

We will be holding two Parents’ Consultation Evenings to give all parents an opportunity to meet class teachers to discuss their child’s progress and targets for the year. The dates for the meetings are Tuesday 11th November and Wednesday 12th November, both starting at 2:30pm. I will send more details nearer the time.

Half term

School finishes for the October half term at 3:15pm tomorrow, Friday 24th October 2008

School returns after the half term at 9:00am on Monday 3rd November 2008

Have a good half term.
